Daniel is PhD candidate at The Ohio State University in MLB lab supervised by Dr. Wei-Lun (Harry) Chao. His research interest lies in machine learning and computer vision. More specifically, it includes 2D/3D large-scale object detection and instance segmentation, long-tailed classification, representation learning, and their applications in autonomous driving and medical imaging. He also has a strong background in chemical and biomolecular engineering.
